How to Reset Samsung Giga Sound System

The Samsung Giga Sound System has a number of different reset options that can be used to fix problems with the system. The following steps will show you how to perform a factory power reset:

Turn off the power.

Now that you've determined that there may be an issue with your sound system, it's time to troubleshoot. First, turn off the power.

Next, unplug the power cord from its socket on the wall and wait a few seconds before plugging it back in again. Now turn on your Samsung Giga Sound System again by turning on its power switch and see if this fixes your problem!

Choose the type of reset you want to perform, and then follow the onscreen instructions.

You can use the System Reset menu to perform various types of resets on your Samsung Giga Sound System:

  • Reset the system to factory settings. This will restore all settings and files to their original values when you first purchased your device. It also deletes all personal information, including any personal media files stored on an internal storage device.

  • Reset the system to factory settings and delete all files in internal storages (SD cards). This action deletes all data from the internal memory, such as images, music files and video clips that were transferred from a computer or other mobile device. If you have any important data stored in this memory location, be sure it has been safely backed up before performing this operation so that you don't lose it forever!

If you selected Factory Power Reset, touch Yes.

Next, you need to press the reset button for a few seconds. This is located on the left side of your Giga Sound System and has a picture of an arrow pointing down. You should see either a power light or an LED light turn on after that, depending on which model you have.

After pressing and holding the reset button for several seconds, release it. Do not remove your finger from this button until after any lights go out and then come back on again (you should see them flash). The length of time that this takes varies depending on how long you held your finger down before releasing it.

Set the system settings again.

  • Turn on the system, and select your language.

  • Set the time and date in the Clock menu option using the following steps:

a. Press [SETUP] to go into Setup mode.

b. Press [1] or [2] repeatedly until Clock appears on screen, then press [ENTER].

c. Use directional buttons (3) to navigate through menus, or use cursor keys (4) for faster operation; press ENTER when done selecting each setting in order to move to next step in setting up clock feature including setting alarms and snooze times if desired
