How to Reset Eufy Vacuum

If you have an Eufy vacuum, there will come a time when it just stops working. There are several reasons why this can happen, but the good news is that you can use these steps to help resolve the issue:

The first step is to restart your device.

The first step is to restart your device.

To do this, press the power button on your Eufy Vacuum Cleaner and wait for it to turn off completely. Then, press again until you hear a second beep and watch the red light on top of your vacuum blink slowly (it should take about 10 seconds). Your Eufy Vacuum Cleaner should now be in "airplane mode." You can press any other buttons if you need to exit air-plane mode or change settings on your device; just remember that pressing any buttons will restart its timer at zero again.

If this doesn't work, you will want to try resetting the vacuum to its factory settings.

If this doesn't work, you will want to try resetting the vacuum to its factory settings. To do this:

  • Turn off your Eufy vacuum from the power button on top of it.

  • Press and hold your power button for 30 seconds (or until it turns off). Make sure not to let go before 30 seconds have passed, or else it will not work!

  • Once your device has powered down completely and is no longer making any noises or lights, turn it back on by pressing its power button again. This should reboot everything into a fresh state!

Resetting the device should work unless you have a software glitch in the system.

If the vacuum still does not work, you may want to contact customer service.

To reset your Eufy device, first make sure that there isn't a software glitch in the system. Press and hold down the power button for 10 seconds until you hear "huh." Then release it and wait for your device's lights to flash before attempting another restart.

You can fix problems with your Eufy vac with just a few simple steps

In the case that your vacuum won't turn on, you can try resetting it. Here's how:

  • Unplug your Eufy vac from its power source, and let it sit for five minutes to cool down. This will allow any excess heat to dissipate before restarting the device, reducing the risk of fire or serious damage to internal components.

  • Plug in the cord again and press both buttons on top of the handle together until they click into place—this will indicate that you've successfully reset your Eufy vac back to factory settings (and also inform any bystanders that something is about to happen).
